Summer Breakspot Program


Earn Community Service Hours While Working with the Coral Springs Police Department this Summer!

The Coral Springs Police are looking for student volunteers who are 15 and older to assist with the police-run Summer BreakSpot program. The six-week program provides food enrichment and safety to under served children between the ages of 6-11, who reside in the City of Coral Springs.

  • Be willing to volunteer for at least two consecutive weeks of the program
  • Complete and return necessary volunteer paperwork and be in good standing with the law

The program will be held at two locations, Coral Springs Elementary School and James S. Hunt Elementary School. Volunteer hours are from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm each day of the program:

June: 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28

July: 3, 5, 10, 11, 12,17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26
